March 2nd is the 1st Saturday of the month for the month of March.
Attention Student Leaders interested in Student Government and official volunteer hours!
Attention Parents interested in volunteering and starting a school Parent Teacher Association.
Attention Alumni interested in volunteering and joining the schools Alumni Association!
With a mission of promoting these school based organizations to collaborate (a collaboration we call #Familyhood) come out to McClymonds High School at 8:00 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. and volunteer in the school garden.
The agenda for the day is in progress.
We would like to propose the following type of agenda:
8:00 am. – 8:15 a.m. Welcome from The Principal
8:15 am. – 8:30 a.m. overview of tasks to accomplish at the garden.
While we work, we listen to updates from:
8: 30 a.m. – 9:00 – David Roach will give overview of #Familyhood from the book: “The vision #Familyhood and its “do now” strategy 1stSaturdays.
9:00 – 9:30 a.m.– Student gives update on Student leaders/government – Question and answer
9:30 – 10:00 a.m – Parent gives update on Parent Teacher Association – Question and Answer
10:00 a.m. – 10:30 a.m. – Alumni gives update on the Alumni Association – Question and Answer
10:30 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. – Community updates/ announcements / Music / #Familyhood updates
11:00 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. Clean up / Next 1st Saturdays date – April 6th, 2019
Objective
By the end of the day, the school looks physically better and increased communication between students.parents/alumni and the community have been achieved.
